1. Information We Collect
Review Hero: AI Replies ("the App") provides an AI-powered service to manage product reviews. To provide this service, we collect the following information:
- Shop Data: Merchant email, shop name, and domain.
- Review Data: Content of product reviews, star ratings, and product titles fetched via Judge.me or Yotpo APIs.
- Customer Data: We only process the reviewer's display name as provided by your review platform to personalize AI drafts.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use the collected data strictly to generate automated review response drafts. Review content is sent to Google Gemini AI for processing. We ensure that:
- Data is processed transiently and is not used to "train" the underlying AI models for other users.
- Data is used only for the purpose of generating the reply drafts you request.
3. Data Retention and Deletion
We comply with Shopify’s mandatory privacy webhooks:
- App Uninstallation: All merchant settings and access tokens are deleted from our database within 48 hours of app removal.
- GDPR Compliance: We honor "Customer Data Erasure" and "Data Access" requests forwarded by Shopify.
4. Security
All data is encrypted in transit via HTTPS and at rest within our managed database on Railway. We never sell or share merchant or customer data with third-party advertisers.
